Karı Çor Tegin Inscription

A bilingual funerary inscription commemorating Karı Çor Tigin, a prince of the Uyghur Khaganate who died at Chang’an in 795. The stone contains a Tang-period Chinese epitaph and a seventeen-line Old Turkic text in Turkic runiform script recording his lineage, burial and funerary ceremony.
