The Sudzi (also: Suci / Sudjin) inscription is a short Old Turkic runic text from the early Uyghur-period milieu, first published by G. J. Ramstedt (1913). It consists of 11 lines: nine main vertical lines, plus two shorter lines placed on an uneven surface below. A tamga is visible at the top of the monument. The monument is considered to be lost at the moment. This page provides the inscription with the original text layout, transcription, transliteration, and an English translation, with brief linguistic notes and a bibliography. Key editions and translations include Ramstedt’s German publication and Orkun’s Turkish corpus.
